Tri-M

Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), which focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy. This honor society is service-based and provides our students leadership opportunities to make a difference in our community through music-based service projects.

There are more than 2,100 chapters across 50 states and 15 countries involving more than 84,000 students in grades 6-12. Each year, student members contribute more than 750,000 service hours to their school and local communities and raise nearly $1 million for causes they care about.

In order to be accepted into the NAHS chapter:

Students must participate in a music ensemble during the time of application and the subsequent year of study. They must have earned a B or better in all music classes and a C or better in all academic classes. They must demonstrate strength of character through service, leadership, and cooperation.

If you are interested in joining, please contact Mr. Rizzo in the music office.
