Marching Band email 8/15/17

All future Marching Band emails will only go to those who have registered and /or are participating in the 2017 Marching Band.


Please register for Marching Band by going to in order to register for the school district AS WELL AS and click on the “Marching Band Registration Page” by August 18. Numbers must be finalized so that drill can be written. Please complete the online registration form fully.


I am very excited to get under way with our 2017 season! Our field show this year is titled “Space” and will incorporate some of the most recognizable music from film, television, and popular culture.

This is a very exciting show with excellent music! Please feel free to look up recordings of this music.


Attached please find all necessary information regarding camp. Camp will be held 8/21-25 from 8am-4pm at NAHS.

a.       The first two movements of the field show are available for download. Please begin to prepare them for camp.

b.       All students should download and begin to prepare warmups 1, 4, 7, 11, and 15 in the folder “2017 Warmups- Winds”.

c.       Wind players should begin downloading the stand tunes and playing through them. Band camp will focus mainly on the show. These will be primarily be learned on your own or in self-organized sectionals.
